‘Italo-indie’. Is that too much of a blasphemy? Melancholy-tinged, earnest, soaring vocals drenched in interesting electronic soundscapes and shaped with quality production of a strictly dance sensibility. We’d love to see how they do it live.

Its not about coming to SEE Epic26, its about being PART OF Epic26.
Its not about us flogging some half arsed performances to you, in some creepy venues at extortionate prices to make a quick $, its about you guys coming along and having an amazing time, making a conversation with us and telling us what you want Epic26 to do!
Its about hugging sweaty randoms whilst at the edge of pure euphoria @ an Epic26 gig after you’ve had the shitest week at work.
Its not about who you know and who you don’t know, its about who your going to meet, and how much of a stinking good time your going to have when you meet them.
It would be easy for us to tell you about how we met and what our subliminally political motives are…but we’d far rather you came along and found that out for yourself!
Here’s a couple of reviews about Epic26……does it make us more appealing to you? If not, should we care? Answers on a postcard (or Email band@epic26.com)
‘ The Edinburgh band just get better and better. The E.P starts with “Sorry It Hurts” and a Kraftwerk computer voice telling you “Dance, dance like you’ve never done before” and maybe you will. I loved the line:
“I only walked into a lamp post a couple of times”.
Tight and clever, their singer has a mix of Biffy’s Simon Neil and the Manic’s James Dean Bradfield. “Sorry It Hurts” is a tune you have to hear. Epic by name, Epic by nature. A band that deserves to be massive.’
‘ Epic26 are in pole position as one of the new Scots bands to watch..the groove of Blondie with synths from Hazel O’Connor’s Breaking Glass. And Stuck In Time’s psycho billy stomp is the tune Babyshambles always threatened to play.’
Rick Fulton, The Daily Record.
Give Epic26 a hug next time you see them
