Country Boy Appears on The Police Box 9 » A strong and very strongly country flavoured song. You wouldn't know they were Scottish unless you were told, (and we're telling you, so now you know). More live entertainment ripe for festival stage - thanks again to The Garden Party 2009. Log in to download tracks |
The Gillyflowers are lead by a hard-wired and intrinsic talent, Kirsten Adamson. Spending time in Nashville with dad Stuart Adamson (founder of Big Country), Kirsten, at the tender age of 12 recognised that her particular songwriting style was 'a little more country' than a girl from Scotland should be. Moving around so much as a child also landed Kirsten in Orlando for a while where she developed much of her live experience and having served her 'apprenticeship,' became a guest vocalist for Big Country both live and on the album Driving To Damascus.
