White Heath are a unique Edinburgh based five-piece band who draw upon a wide range of styles, traditions and instrumentation to create an exciting and involving live experience. They hope to have captured this energy and emotion on their debut EP 'The Sea Wall', released August 2009.
Over the past year they have been lucky enough to work with some inspiring artists from a number of different mediums. Three of the songs included on 'The Sea Wall' were featured in their collaboration with the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance in their winter production 'Hard Rain' and appearance at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange in the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show.
At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008 they collaborated with award winning hip-hop artists Mud Sun, and earlier this year were commissioned to compose a series of original musical accompaniments to spoken word recordings for the launch of the esteemed poetry magazine Anon.
