This is a bit of a Scottish local interest post, but seeing as the company behind Noisy Nights, the experimental music website Seven Things, was one of the inspirations behind Ten Tracks, we figured the least we could do was to give their new event a plug.
Noisy Nights is a kind of open mic night for contemporary (and especially experimental) composers: submit a score and have it played by the highly-professional Red Note Ensemble, while a substantial crowd of social yet curious onlookers weigh it up.
An article from The Skinny about the night is here; if you'd like to submit a score go direct to John at Seven Things.
