FEBRUARY TRACKS OUT & SPECIAL OFFERS!

Guess what? February sees Ten Tracks now releasing more than 100 artists - roll up, roll up! As part of the celebrations Matt has pulled out the stops to make subscriptions to the site more flexible, allowing you to choose bundles from any channel, still for the bargain price of £10 for 12 months. Anyone who already has a subscription to a specific channel can now use their subscription to choose bundles from any channel. Also, a full year's subscription to Ten Tracks is yours if you are lucky enough to refer the 1,000th member to the site? In fact, such a lovely round number of revolutionary online music fans is only a whisker away - and of course this lucky new member gets a free one too (subscription that is). So if you're telling anyone about the site this month, make sure they email info@tentracks.co.uk to tell us who referred them! This month we bring you the first compilation from Huntleys and Palmers Audio Club, which brings with it favourable comparison to a second commanding installment from OpenEar. The Police Box (still second to none in monthliness!), gives you some smooth tunes to mark Valentine's day 2009 and our brimming first public event that night, at which we celebrated collective endeavour across artforms, along with The Collective Gallery and family The Skinny - not forgetting three of Scotland's foremost folk/folktronica artists (if we must use tags). Thanks again to Rob St John, Eagleowl and My Kappa Roots for sharing the first night of their tour and creating such a great atmosphere for Ten Tracks' first public gig. Thanks also go out to The Bowery, one of Edinburgh's choice venues for music (great sound!). Look out for performances from FOUND at the end of the month, and Punch and The Apostles after that in March. They are joined by Vashti Bunyan and BBC Radio 1's own Vic Galloway to celebrate the finale of a successful Oxjam Festival 2009. Details about the Oxjam gig to follow nearer the time. Go to the 'FOUND SXSW Fundraiser Event' entry above to get knock-down £4 entry to the event, exclusively for Ten Tracks members - so sign up (free) if you havent already, and you could have 30 Ten Tracks tunes AND entry to the FOUND gig for the same price as full price entry. Makes sense. Finally, why not make use of the new RSS feature on these blogs so you can keep tabs on the latest updates? Happily yours for Valentine's Month, The Ten Tracks Team
