Ten Tracks is the resident music and arts events programmer for brand new Edinburgh venue, The Third Door.

The Third Door is a versatile events space entirely suited to Ten Tracks' needs, boasting flexible staging arrangements for bands, DJs, film, theatre, visuals and dance performances, or any combination of these.

At a capacity of between 175 and 225, it is the perfect size for seeding refreshing new events ideas, and the Ten Tracks team is well placed in Scotland's music and arts community to ensure audiences are as healthy as they can be for cutting edge events.  We also offer extra exposure, press presence and other value-add for events which are already destined to do well.

The programme is aimed at being diverse and inclusive, reflecting Ten Tracks' own eclectic remit on-line.  For this we need to maximise our time at the job of producing and promoting the events.  For this we have a dedicated Events Coordinator, a separate Booker, a Press Officer and PR staff, as well as Ten Tracks' online promo avenues.  We also have a resident promoter specialised in visuals, music video and film events.

We are aware that the best visiting event organisers will naturally negotiate the best rates for the venues they choose to host their events in.  In view of this, our policy at The Third Door is to cut out the time taken reaching these inevitable decisions, by calibrating the rent deal as low as possible from the outset.  This time saved in turn allows us to fill the programme rapidly with high quality events, and maximise the time for the promotion of them.
